The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers the best of experiential learning to students in the domains of Design,
Thermal and Production Engineering along with recent multidisciplinary cutting-edge technologies.
The students are taught and trained about Engines, Automobiles, Power Plants, Manufacturing Processes, and Design of
Machine Components using AutoCAD, CATIA and Fusion 360 by highly quali ied and experienced faculty, researchers, and
tech gurus from academia and industry. The Department has a well-established pedagogy, State-of-the-art Infrastructure,
Well-Equipped Laboratories and offers 'Teaching Beyond Curriculum' by Training in Arduino, Sensors, Motors and
Programming Languages.
The Department associates students with the best in sector industries having signed with them an MoU. Students visit
Industries, are offered Training and Internships, participate in National Level Competitions like Smart India Hackathon (SIH)
and emerge as winners. Students of the Department own Startups, catering to the needs of society in the ield of Drones. All
these help the students to develop themselves as industry-ready professionals capable of earning the best placements.
